Restored

“Restored” is an original piece for handbells that offers the listener a sense of calm in spite of life’s turbulent times. After a sad or frustrating experience, we can always call to mind the phrase from Psalm 23:3, “He Restores My Soul”. The opening section of the piece is contemplative and exposed. The uplifting theme is then introduced and evolves into a quiet and brooding middle section. To remind us of the title, there is a modulation leading into an uplifting and hopeful ending. This piece offers an enormous opportunity to work on expression and dynamic variance and is perfect for church, concert, or festival venues.
