Tranquil Chimings

With no bell changes and comprised solely of whole and half notes, “Tranquil Chimings” is appropriate for school or sacred settings and can be rung entirely on either handchimes or handbells. Written for a children’s handbell choir, this original piece can foster success for beginners of any age. The techniques are very limited, allowing ringers to concentrate on the fundamentals of counting and dynamics. This work is an ideal first piece for beginning choirs. This easy 32-measure composition is written in C Major.
